Its Golden Time

Apart from Pakistan's offer for joint investigation India has given a list of 20 wanted terrorist to Pakistan even without providing Pakistanis with some evidence of their involvement in Mumbai or Bombay attacks. Foreign intelligence agencies CIA, MOSAD also arrived in India for further investigation and Pakistan's intelligence co-operation is still not accepted. It shows that India does not want any co-operation from Pakistan side. Indian Government is executing the plan as it was decided. It shows quite a similarity with 9/11 attacks when USA asked Afghanistan for some militants including Osama Bin Laden, now India is also asking for some militants who might not exist or Pakistan might not know about them. But we have to hand over those militants otherwise India will send us to Stone Age. It’s quite amazing that everything has relevance with 9/11 attacks. But India should know that India is not USA and Pakistan is not Afghanistan, so things could become complicated. At the moment Pakistan should think quite seriously about the future foreign policy. The call for National Security Conference was a good initiative by the Government. I think this is GOLDEN TIME for Pakistan to make some decisions which will help in maintaining Peace throughout the country. It is a golden time for us to stand together as one nation under one flag. We should be very thankful to Indian Government for providing us such a precious moment.
While taking the advantage of current situation Pakistan can take another U-turn and could immediately shift all the troops from western borders to eastern borders by saying that our eastern borders are more vulnerable now than before. When the troops will be pulled out of tribal areas and Fata, a gap will be created which can be filled by the tribal people and they know how to handle situation if US or NATO forces will try to invade from western borders of Pakistan. Government of Pakistan should also held talks with all tribal elders to bring peace in that area and those tribal elders should be made responsible for eliminating terrorism from their corresponding areas.
The removal of troops from tribal areas will bring pressure from USA. For putting more pressure on Government of Pakistan USA will also launch series of drone attacks into tribal areas to de-stabilize the peace process. The solution of drone attacks is very simple; first of all we should talk diplomatically as we did before and then Pakistan Air force should be given free hand to defend Pakistan's sovereignty. The Chief of Air staff already accepted that Pakistan can intercept drone attacks if Government will allow them to do so. Another tactics which could be helpful is to cut the supply lane of NATO and US troops which goes from Karachi to Afghanistan through Khyber agency by saying that we cannot feed US and NATO troops who does not care about sovereignty of Pakistan. This tactic can create panic to the US and NATO troops in Afghanistan whose 80% supply goes through Pakistan and that’s what they are afraid of. A consequence of this could be the possibility of US and NATO troops invasion into Pakistan’s tribal areas which can be easily crushed by our tribal people, Pakistan does not need to deploy troops in that region.

After securing the western border when the troops will come to eastern borders India will never try to show some aggression. But if they will do same stupidity as they did in 2002 then Pakistan can reply in the same way. At this moment President Zardari should take his decision back about the first use of nuclear weapon by saying that it is not Quran or Hadees. This will give a signal to Government of India before making some decision. In this way Pakistan can easily secure all international borders but she will still have some internal forces trying to de-stabilize the country. If we will take some recent examples like Karachi incident, where more than 40 people were killed and many got injured immediately after Mumbai attack, or recent sectarian violence in Dera Ismail Khan, shows that some elements want to create trouble and they are very active. For culminating these elements Government of Pakistan should put rangers and police on red alert.

On the other hand Pakistan should give full support Indian Government as much as possible to investigate this incident and to find the people who were behind Mumbai Massacre if they will allow to do so. Government of Pakistan has already offered a joint investigation to India and if India will accept this proposal then all the truth will come out otherwise it will show that Indian government want to hide some things from Pakistan and she was also involved in Mumbai attacks.

I think at this point when things are becoming more clearer, and USA has offered full support to India, now Pakistan Government should review foreign policy and Pakistan should immediately join the Russian and Chinese miltary co-operation, which would be helpful for Pakistan if India and USA both attack at the same time, then China and Russia can help Pakistan to cop the situation.

I conclude this article with a hope of Peace between both nations and in the whole world, because every time when there is some terrorist incident or war take place, only innocent civilian got killed, due to the mistakes in Policy making from our Politicians and Army personals who at the end manage to escape. I think they will not repeat their mistakes.

May God bring Peace and Prosperity in our World.

I have added some new maps of Pakistan which i found in one of famous Pakistani Newspaper. Indian muslims are desperate to unite their states with Pakistan and if they will be successful and if Government of Pakistan worked sensibly then these maps can become reality.

i am afraid that you are not quite well aware of the ground reality prevailing in Pakistan.
first of all there are no more real tribal elders left in FATA. now it is under the reign of some pseudo, government nourished ones who have almost zero following as well as credibility among the masses. they are just like northern alliance. somehow or they other the real ones have all been eliminated.
moreover, politicians like zardari can only tease their own countrymen by creating problems out of nothing like loadshedding. it seems that our country is not even being run as a public limited company now. people like him will just go abroad if Pakistan comes under attack and would ask the army generals to press the sacred nuclear button on their missed call. i take him as a person who envies the skills of pickpocketers expert in looting money from the pockets of others without making any hoolas.

now the question is how will we retaliate in case of some precision attacks in cities like bahawalpur, lahore, karachi, rawalpindi and even islamabad?
is it going to match like the ones we did after attacks in fata and bannu?

I think when Pakistan army will pullout of tribal areas then their will be full peace and nobody will do more suicide bombing because then they dont have any reason for doing all this.
Secondly i hope our government will not behave immaturly on this serious issue, and i think Armed forces will also help Government to come out of this situation.

ok i have a view on this also. firstly when we talk about being united with india then lets look at the reality actually we could never get along with them even though we invite their delegations of politicians, showbiz etc but lets face it we never actually emptied our hearts with the hatrid we usually feel for indians specially when it comes to who is the better of the two. this is such a massive game plan of destroying pakistan only. take a look at it like this...
first the americans enter afghanistan, destroy it, cover the borders that it shares with pakistan and dramatize to be a friend of pakistan. using our northern borders to attack not only the afghan people but also the tribal area people in pakistan. so they are covering our north western borders really well. allying with troops not only from UK but from all over the world including india (and we have proof of them entering our country through afghanistan).
Now attacks in india, although not much of a big incident if we dont dramatize it like the indian and american media are doing (we have more serious bomb attacks than this killing in india but we dont put it on anyone but ourselves). you might have noticed how much coverage the mumbai incident had been given by not only the inidan media but also CNN and BBC and a few other foreing chanels as well. Now there are two major atomic powers in asia and they are india and pakistan. have you noticed how not very responsive america has been about it. all they have done till now is condemn the attacks on tv and ask pak for cooperation. but lets not forget america is a silent player. its actually pumping india to put the blame on pakistan so that india moves its troops to the borders and we move our troops to the borders and this gives way to whoo???? the Nato forces on the western borders. afghans already dont think in good terms for us. they are already under US influence. so when we'll be surrounded on both sides by our enemies ofcourse it will weaken us and it will be easier for america to destroy us.
do you think the Qabailis of our country can protect our borders from the Nato forces. i dont think so they are niether in big number nor do they have weapons as massive n hi tech as Natos. secondly these so called talibans are not actually local pathans but they are intruders from across and most of them are indians (trust me on this i live in that side now).
so this is all a planned game to destroy pakistan. ISI is a very smart organization and a powerful one and believe me its number one on the hitlist of many countries. indians sadly have turned out to be so dumb that they havent even investigated anything themselves and out of nowhere putting the blame on pakistan. now why does america doesnt ask them to investigate properly rather they ask us to cooperate with them, although we were on cooperations terms right from the very first day.
so brother fahad i dont think it will be a good idea to move our forces from the north western borders but we might have to. we are alhamdulilah the 4th largest army of the world Allah will help us. we have been showing a very postive attitude to the indian attacks and believe me india is acting very childish on this. but one thing i must say about our media. we should be a bit more rigid in our response now. we should openly tell indians to shut their idiot mouths and do their homework properly. some of our entertainment channels are still showing indian programs as if we cant live without them if they can send our artists back and not let them participate in their shows we should also react the same. you can call me a strong head but thats how i feel that if they can openly go on bad mouthing us we should also show them what we are also capable of.

atleast the 1st map has "India" in it but in the second map, it seems to be erased completely. so sad!
how abt this? bcos, pakistan is a peace loving nation and doesnot support harming others, let's rename the whole region as afghanistan cos, fanatics, non-peace lovers from afghanistan who are against pakistan will invade both pakistan and india and annhilate the whole population and rename the region as afghanistan.

@Sadaf,

I agreee with you, you have pictured the scenerio in a good way. The only thing we need is to change our attitude, and we should think about our serious situation. I am afraid our rulers are still going on foreign tours. I hope Armed forces and ISI might play their role more intelligently. That is the only hope we have and thats why whole international media is against ISI because it seems like that is the only organization in Pakistan that resists against the big game plan which is crafted to de-stabilize Pakistan. But situation is not that much simple its very complex.

@delhinawab:
I dont agree with you. If you take example of the Afghan Govt. before 9/11 they were very peaceful and they were not creating trouble in our border regions or in india. But this Afghan Govt is more loyal to india and thats why they are allowing india to send insurgents into PAkistan to de-stabilize our country. And if you know their were no suicide attacks in Pakistan before american invasion into Afghanistan. So it clearly shows that America supported indians to put insurgency into our tribal areas and Afghan Govt fully supported them. So i think USA invasion into afghanistan made the sitauation worsed than before.

Sadaf's analysis seems to be spot on. In fact, perhaps that is the plan, pressurize us from both sides, and then squeeze the hell out of us (God forbid).

I had a suspicion that RAW could have been behind the Marriott bombing, in reaction to the Delhi blasts, which God knows who planned. Why don't we turn around and start asking for the culprits of the Samjhota Express disaster to be handed over? I as a Pakistani would also like to demand the deportation of those Indian policeman to our jails who tortured (poured scalding water, tore off nails), illegally detained and killed our innocent citizens (one boy went to watch a Pak-India cricket match) just because their visa expired or got stolen. What a nightmare! We returned their bonafide spy on humanitarian grounds and got coffins in return!

One other thing I would like to say on the side is that I have noticed that it is common for Pakistani citizens to bad-mouth their own army, turn a blind eye to their sacrifices and achievements, exaggerate negative news, make unproved allegations, and badly lower their morale, but when something like this happens, then it's taken for granted that Pak Army will save the day! Let me tell you, this causes tension, dejection and bitterness in the hearts of soldiers, and those who have lost their family members who died fighting to protect Pakistan, or are disabled, without eyes, legs or arms. They are human beings and fellow Pakistanis after all. If you want I can take you to visit these people sometimes, I really think their morale needs to be boosted. And this suspicion on one side, and dejection on the other is exactly what our enemies want. Young people don't want to join the army like they used to because of the terrible bias and unbelievable hatred that army families received last year (2007). I think the Pakistani people should be sensitive to this, because the army is not a separate faction, it is an institution of Pakistanis who are willing to put their lives on the line, not once, not twice, but everyday of their lives if need be. If you look at the work the Armed Forces put into relief and rehabilitation work in the aftermath of the October 8th earthquake (2005)... it's amazing and something to be proud of, that a Pakistani institution reacted with such professionalism and dedication. If it hadn't been for them, so many lives would not have been saved. All this reconstruction work would not have been possible. Soldiers were also killed in that earthquake, and a large number of troops lost their families and their homes. They buried their dead, left their wounded in hospitals in Pindi and adjoining areas, and went back to the relief efforts. Some of these brave souls never returned. I'm not talking just about jawans, I'm talking all ranks, whether Brigadiers, Captians or Subedars.

Also, if it hadn't been for the ISI, USA and India would have swallowed us whole by now. All this talk against ISI has got to be sponsored by Western media and their interests, because ISI is such a big obstacle in their plans. ISI is an organization to be PROUD of. It is on par with CIA and MOSSAD, which is no mean achievement, and inshaAllah will touch even greater heights.

So I agree! We have to be UNITED, countries are built by unity, and wars are not won by armies but by nations. The Pak Army is not a mercenary contingent you know, what they do, they do for the people. It's SO important for our country's security for the people to back them up, to feel at ONE, not to regard the army as "them" but "us", because that's what they are, and that's common sense really, which I have felt needs to be reiterated.

Best regards,
Mehr

@Mehr
Yes you are right we should be united at this serious moment. And we should try to realize our Govt and Armed forces to be united and think about this serious situation. I am afraid no one in our Government and Establishment is serious. I agree that Ex President Mr. Musharaf ruined the image of Armed forces. But now he is gone so Army should take such steps which will show that they are along with Pakistani people by pulling out their forces from tribal regions. I dont have any example where one country's airforce bombard their own innocent civilians. I am talking about the situation in Swat and other tribal region. Why we are killing our own innocent people? We should stop doing that and this is the only way in which army can regain his lost respect.
I agree with you Armed forces are from us and we should be united and we should make one policy and then try to save the national interests. Thats why i said in my article that we should pull the forces out of tribal region. We should stop killing our own innocent civilians. No civilized country kill their own civilians. This is a conspiracy and we should be aware of it that it is widening the distance between civilians and armed forces. Now we should try to eliminate this distance. Unity we all need. The day we will be united nobody will try to blame us(as india did even without having any evidence).

@Ghazala
You are welcome.

@Fahad
what if US Naval forces cut the supply line of whole of Pakistan after we cut their supply route in our country?

moreover, brother u r getting healthier response on your blog.

goodluck for the future

Fahad Fazal Elahi said... December 10, 2008 12:47 PM

@Zaheer

Not only US but India can also try to cut the Supply to Karachi port just like india has already cut our Water of Chaneb but the solution is first diplomatic and second we should leave it to our Navy to secure our ports. Whats the use of Navy if they cannot make secure all ports.

Zaheer Iqbal Naru said... December 11, 2008 12:37 AM

bro.
navy is here to secure our naval territory not for total sacrificial elimination.
u too hav worked in a govt organization and you must have got the idea where we stand that's why u left it for better halunciated prospects.
